EINTRINSIC

An integrative approach

With 15 years’ experience in various international roles and with extensive studies in psychology and different therapy forms (e.g. solution-focused and acceptance and commitment), I am able to integrate various perspectives when supporting my clients in their path towards their desired level of wellbeing and performance.

To further deepen my knowledge, I am currently studying sensorimotor psychotherapy at Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. Sensorimotor psychotherapy helps to resolve unresolved trauma and it combines somatic therapies, attachment theory, cognitive applications, neuroscience, and techniques from the Hakomi method.

Through sensorimotor therapy, people are often able to develop more control over their trauma-related trigger responses and they become more aware of the ways that trauma affects mind and body, and develop the ability to pay attention to personal thoughts and somatic experiences without being overwhelmed by a traumatic event.

What drives me? My intrinsic motivation is driven by internal factors such as:

Curiosity: exploring and learning

Challenge: working towards goals, sense of purpose

Cooperation: the desire to belong and sharing goals with others

As a person I am empathetic and find transparency important. These traits are also reflected in my professional role as a coach or a counselor and I put great emphasis on sensitivity, respect, openness and honesty.

It’s essential that I can offer my clients personalized support. I enjoy learning about new evidence-based mental wellbeing and personal development methods and bring them to practice.
